Her passion for retriever sports comes through regardless of whether she’s speaking to her readers, a live audience or in front of a camera.  Beth Ann has been an instructor for the Becoming An Outdoors Woman program in Oklahoma and Arkansas, teaching classes in waterfowling, outdoor clothing for women and dog training.  She and her husband regularly present training demonstrations for national hunting shows, sporting goods retailers and sportsmen groups including Bass Pro, Cabela’s, Sportsman’s Warehouse, Ducks Unlimited, U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service, Step Outside Program, Boy Scouts of America, National Wild Turkey Federation and the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation.  Radio listeners have enjoyed her training expertise on ESPN Radio, Advantage Outdoors, and Speak, an Oklahoma City-based live talk show for dog owners.  Deep Fork Retrievers has been featured on Outdoor Oklahoma five times due to the record number of viewer requests and also appeared on the premier episode of The World of Dogs which aired on PBS channels in the U.S. and Europe.

An avid hunter, Beth Ann was invited by the Limbsaver/Sims Vibration Laboratory corporate staff to hunt Alaskan black bear on the Prince of Wales Island.  This successful hunt was filmed for the Limbsaver Outdoor America television show on the Outdoor Channel.  She has also appeared on On the Water In the Woods with Cody and Cody and co-hosted WomenHunters Outdoors on the Sportsman Channel. 

Beth Ann agrees wholeheartedly with Annie Oakley’s famous quote, “Any woman who does not thoroughly enjoy tramping across the country on a clear frosty morning with a good gun and pair of dogs does not know how to enjoy life.”  “Just make mine Labradors!”
